The two are the leading contenders for the job but each one thinks they are the outright winner. This is even before the elections are fully completed after they were rescheduled.
Saha who was found shooting the video of his new song Zakayo said that he’s only waiting for a confirmation.
The Biri Biri singer wondered why in over the 20 spots on the UMA cabinet it was only Cindy and Phina Mugerwa who were angered by the dissolution of the election. Saha added that it must be a lining-up vote.
Saha also revealed his plans of meeting the entire artists as a group to discuss the issues pressing them.
“I don’t want to talk much about the election because I’m now a leader but those who have been following on my pages know that I’m already the winner. The artists and fans know who they want and most are asking me when the after-party will happen.
The first thing I do will be draft policies to guide us as musicians because we don’t have them. Further, we shall be having a picnic, and a get-together to promote unity amongst us,” he said.
For Cindy’s case, she’s confident too that she’s the winner. This is because she was leading the virtual election till they canceled it. She doesn’t think that much will change and she’s also waiting for UMA’s way forward.
The Boom Party singer says that she contested not because she thinks she’s the brightest but because she thinks she can steer the industry forward.
This is due to the experience she’s accumulated over the years. The former Blu 3 singer added that she’s willing to work with Saha if she wins.
