The singer however on reaching the city faced a very rough time adjusting. Apparently most people in the label were not so friendly.
He recalled one time when he told one of his crew mates who had offered him a lift to reduce on the speeding level. This individual told the Muliranwa singer to get out and walk if he felt rattled.
Another time someone drove him past his home intentionally and he had to walk back. Basically everyone in the label wanted to prove that they were the main guy. And Saha who had just come from the village couldn’t keep up with the city pomp and flair. However, he seized his opportunity when Chameleone flew out of the country.
The Valu Valu singer had shows in China, the US and the UK. He was going to take some time away. That’s when Saha and his manager Sam hit studio and recorded the Muliranwa song which became a hit.
The former Leone Island singer says he was called by Chameleone’s late brother, AK47 who informed him that his Muliranwa song was becoming a hit. He had apparently heard it in the US and UK.
This didn’t move Saha as he even didn’t know what it meant to have a hit song. When Chameleone jetted back in, Saha and his manager had already plotted to exit the crew and they did.
Jose Chameleone also didn’t cling onto them a lot and let them go. The only problem they ever had was when their shows clashed on the same date but apart from that, they are good friends.
