On Thursday, August 29, Kylian Mbappe ‘s X account appeared to have been hacked. This is after his official account published a number of divisive remarks against Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and also the Israel-Palestine conflict.
The tweets were made shortly after and later removed, but by that time, several of Kylian Mbappe’s posts had gained widespread attention.
Furthermore, his followers were taken aback to see that his X account appeared to have been compromised. This is in addition to controversies surrounding Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the “GOAT” argument. Mbappe’s Twitter account also tweeted about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Several messages concerning a cryptocurrency called “$MBAPPE” were posted on Mbappe’s account. Shortly after being shared on X, the posts were removed.
Mbappe’s account also tweeted about a number of Premier League teams, including Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Manchester City. This sparked significant controversy. All of these anonymous posts were later removed
Meanwhile, Mbappe eventually signed a long-term contract with the La Liga team in the summer of 2024, after years of being linked to Los Blancos.
The Frenchman scored his first goal in the UEFA Super Cup during the 2-0 victory over Atalanta on his competitive debut. The Frenchman is yet to score his first goal in La Liga.
When Real Madrid hosts Las Palmas on Friday in an attempt to take the top spot in the La Liga rankings, Mbappe will be aiming to put all of his finishing troubles behind him. The last game before the league takes a break features the reigning champions taking on Real Betis.
