Landlady’s Daughter Beats Male Tenant To Death Over Pending Electricity Bill

A troublesome woman identified as Essi Tina from Lagos Nigeria has been arrested by police for allegedly beating one of her mom’s male tenants to death over a pending electricity bill.

Tina is who is in her 40s is facing charges of murdering a 49-year-old Akparie Christian.

According to the statement released by Lagos State police command spokesperson, Adejobi Olumuyiwa, the late Akparie has been a tenant at No 26 Orijamogun Street, Oreyo Ikorodu. Tina’s mother owned the house.

Reports also indicate that Ms. Essi and Akparie had a serious argument on Sunday 31^st January over payment of electricity bill. This eventually resulted in a serious fight.

The deceased continually suffered severe pains after the fight. Sadly, he passed away on Saturday, 6^th February, whilst authorities rushed him to the hospital.

Authorities later apprehended the suspect and took him to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for a thorough investigation.
