The 9 year old genius boy who is officially enrolled at the Netherland’s Eindhoven University of Technology, was permitted to finalize his Electrical Engineering course faster than fellow students.

During an interview with CNN, Laurent’s father Mr Alex Simons stated that the mastermind also intends to enroll for a Ph.D in the same course and also taking on the medicine degree course at the same time.

Initially, laurent’s grandparents had realized how genius he is, something that his family dismissed until the teachers confirmed it.

According to director of Electrical Engineering department, Mr Hulshof Sjoerd, Laurent who comes from a family of doctors is the fastest, sympathetic and the most genius the school has ever had.

Several reputable universities around the world are already targeting and monitoring the minor’s progress.

Despite his ability to learn fast, his father says they don’t want him to get too serious, they are always careful about his life.
