This Is How Much LDUs Will Be Earning – According To The Chief Defense Forces

The Ugandan army Chief of defence forces, Muhoozi David said Local Defend Unit ( LDUs ) personel will be paid a monthly salary of 200,000shs and give them military clothing and guns.

Gen Muhoozi however said that the auxiliary forces are remunerated a monthly salary of Shs200,000 and shall be paid 6 months upon demobilization.

The newly recruited LDUs personel will collect information, conduct patrols, filing patrol reports and will be available in the involvement of the village security meetings, according to Muhoozi who also said that the enrolled people will be subjected to military law.
