The singer recently revealed that she will definitely vote for King Saha to UMA president. She said so because Saha’s manifesto solves many problems she relates to as a singer.
“Despite being friends with King Saha, I had a decision to make on who would be a better leader for me as an artiste,” Leila Kayondo state in a recent interview.
She revealed that she had a chat on WhatsApp with Saha recently. While at it, the UMA presidency topic came up. He later asked for her location and met her in person and further explained his plans for the association.
“As a singer, his manifesto had the ideas that I have always thought would solve my problems as a singer. So, he will take my vote,” Leila Kayondo said.
On the question of chatting with other contestants, Kayondo said that none of them has approached her to have that chat.
She maintained that despite having no bad blood against Cindy, the self-styled King Herself has not really approached her to seek for her vote.
She said her and Cindy are friends who actually talk once in a while. However, she added that Cindy hasn’t had a chat with her about her plans.
The only shocking news to the viewers is that Kayondo revealed she isn’t a registered member of the Uganda Musician’s association.
According to the election guidelines, only members registered with the association are eligible to vote in the pending elections.
