Taking to his Twitter page, the often publicly notorious Majambere claimed that he received death threats. Apparently, the WhatsApp messages sent to him said that he’s the next. He went ahead to say that he’s appealed to all security agencies to offer him protection and investigate these threats.
Furthermore, he said that he has been receiving numerous threats promising to harm him for promoting the Museveni agenda countrywide.
He also went ahead to say that things got out of hand after his aggravated assault by NUP supporters. This happened in Luweero where he was beaten at the burial of Al Hajji Nadduli’s son, Jakana Nadduli.
Majambere doesn’t see why one’s political inclinations should be a source of worry in their lives. His attempts to ask for personal security were rebuffed as attention seeking.
“Even before that October incident, I was warned that I would be beaten for promoting @KagutaMuseveni’s agenda countrywide and that was mainly the wrongdoing. Imagine supporting one and that becomes a case one is accused of in a democracy like Uganda. I have since appealed for personal security but many thought this was a joke.”
Additionally, Majambere said that Isma had severally said that his life was in danger. Nobody however dared to offer him protection. He appealed for rescue from the government unless it’s the one trying to eliminate them. Besides, he has nowhere to run.
He fears for the fate of his 28 children in case he is murdered and besides he can’t run his businesses properly since he was maimed and is badly sick.
The number that sent these messages appears to have a +20 code which is the country code for Egypt.
Among the people the messages alleged that will be eliminated after using them include, Pr Bugingo, Frank Gashumba, Full Figure, Muhammad Nsereko among others.
