The man has reportedly shared a Facebook post in which he threatened mass shooting if Biden wins US presidential elections.
Reports from Los Angeles Times indicates that the man who names were withheld was on Friday 6th November tracked by the local authorities and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) officers.
According to reports, he was stopped in a car before being driven to his home where they carried out thorough search for weapons and find out how exactly he would launch the attack.
The FBI is aware of the reported threats, and we’re working with our partners. The subject is being evaluated by state officials. The federal government has not made any arrest nor filed charges at this time,” FBI officer Laura Eimiller said.
Joe Biden believes he will win elections
This came barely 2 days after Joe Biden declared it is ‘’clear’’ he has won the US presidential election as Donald Trump launched legal challenges with the result still in the balance.
On Wednesday night, Biden was announced to have won Michigan and Wisconsin. This put him within touching distance of the White House. The key states of Nevada and Georgia could be declared in a few hours. This means the next president of the United States could be known very shortly.
However, the Trump campaign already claimed victory and is seeking to Holt vote counts in battleground states through the courts. This suggests that there will be a turbulent few days to come in the politics of the United States.
