Man Collapses And Dies Outside Cereals Store As Neighbors Watch From Distance

Locals of Mwihoko Kiu Estate in Githurai Nairobi were left in shock after a man collapsed and died outside a cereals store.

According eyewitnesses, the man was seen struggling for a few minutes before he died.

Neighbors rushed to the scene but were unable to get in contact with the body due to coronavirus outside.

‘I rushed to the scene after hearing people screaming, I saw a dead body of a man lying on the ground just outside the cereals store,’Mr Karanja Abel, a neighbor said.

Neighbors alerted Health Ministry officials and police who came and picked up the lifeless body and took it to the hospital mortuary.

The covid-19 response team dressed up in personal protective equipment (PPE).

Since the pandemic lockdown, there have been increased cases of people collapsing and later passing on.

Even a couple of days, a police officer who was guarding at Equity Bank Makutano branch collapsed and died on spot, which caused extreme shock among staff members and residents.
