The suspect identified as Naputa Kenneth appeared before magistrate Bwonwonga Justus charged with the murder of his cousin Esho Ketete at Narok North on 2nd May 2018.
One of the witnesses told court that the suspect saw the deceased being given Shs500 by a driver who was operating a tractor and demanded part of it by then.
The deceased opposed and this man Kenneth got angry and shockingly picked up a metal bar then hit him several times on the head. Katere died at the health Centre where he was taken for treatment.
The proof presented in court clearly indicates that the suspect hit the deceased with a metal bar which caused severe injuries that led to him to death,’said magistrate Justus.
Naputa was found guilty of murder saying he intended to kill the deceased even without provoking him at all.
This man tried to defend himself saying he was unable to remember what happened, adding that he was drunk at that time.
