According to Jajja Wankoko, he saw his daughter attempt to do music when she was a bit younger. He there and then knew that the music gene runs in the family DNA.
Since he has some good money, he decided to start up a studio at home. It’s where Martha started her career. She also has a brother who also does music.
Jajja Wankoko in fact has a newly released song titled Omudigido. He said that music has no time frame. There is nothing as to when to start doing it and when to stop.
Further, he went ahead to thank several people who helped in pushing his daughter’s career at the start.
Among these is one Kisule, dancehall singer Ziza Bafana and Big Talent boss Eddy Kenzo. He said that it was definite that they saw something special in her daughter.
“I got the inspiration to start doing music from my daughter Martha. I started music about 5 years ago. She showed a liking for music and it’s when I knew that it runs in our genes and hence I also started singing. Financially I’m okay so I started up a studio at home. This is where she and her brother started their careers. For those saying I’m too old for music, there is no time frame as to when to start singing and when to stop. Also, I want to thank some people such as Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo. They saw something special in my daughter and helped her at the start of her career,” said Jajja Wankoko.
Furthermore, he also called upon everyone to come and support his daughter for her maiden concert. The Sango singer will have a concert on the 12th of May at Freedom City.
