However, disagreements arose which saw Yawe pull the song off Martha Mukisa’s YouTube channel.
It was alleged that Yawe behaved in an unprofessional conduct towards the singer. She however rejected his advances which in turn angered him to striking the song off her channel.
Earlier this week another upcoming artist known as Sumayya Sheebah based in Denmark also accused the Dream Studios proprietor of sexual harassment.
Sumayya said that she did a song with the Tukigale singer. They agreed on all the terms and conditions and she paid for the video and audio production. She however rejected Yawe who made sexual advances towards her which prompted him to give the song to another upcoming singer, TYBA.
Martha was questioned about these allegations especially hers. She was asked whether Yawe asked to hed her. In a hesitant tone, she after a few seconds denied these claims.
She added that their relationship was professional and besides it was her management that got the collaboration.
“Uhmmm for my case, I won’t say much and I don’t know anything about it but I will say we had a professional relationship. The song was got by my label not me. So we did it and after parted ways although it was pulled off my YouTube channel,” she said.
Martha however acknowledged the presence of such challenges in the industry. Further, she said that as an adult, if you’re not forced into having sex then it’s okay if it’s consensual.
