Maurice Kirya; I Know Lydia Jazmine Because Of Her Photos And Not Her Music

Ugandan soul music singer, Maurice Kirya, has claimed that he doesn’t know songstress Lydia Jazmine’s music. He rather knows her because her pictures keep popping up on his timeline.

This was a surprise to the hosts of the Evening Rush on Galaxy FM.

The Misubaawa singer had been asked about his favorite female musicians. According to Kirya, he used to like Cindy’s music but she’s no longer so active.

“I used to enjoy Cindy’s music but she’s no longer so active. For Lydia Jazmine, I don’t know any of her music, I just know her as a person because she’s beautiful and her pictures keep coming all over my timeline,” said Maurice Kirya.

This earned the highly talented singer criticism from social media users and especially Jazmine’s fans. They also claimed not to know Maurice Kirya’s music.

Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show presenter Kaiyz blasted Kirya and wondered how he was even going to contest for UMA presidency.

“And then he also wanted to contest for Uganda musicians association presidency Uganda zzabu….emitwe jino. @LydiahJazmine stands to be one of the most beautiful and talented female artists in uganda,” Kaiyz argued.

Meanwhile Kirya also listed his best Ugandan musicians. These included John Blaq. He also listed Rabadaba and Nutty Neithan saying that these should be the ones currently bossing the chats.
