Like everyone else, Christmas is a time where people come together and celebrate as family. Mohamed Salah and his family also got in the festive mood to partake in celebrations.
The Egyptian, his daughter and son adorned themselves in colorful red and white Christmas costumes. They also went ahead to pose for some snapshots with a Christmas tree behind them.
As soon as he took to his Twitter page to post the picture, Muslims started flooding his page to condemn his action. Their grievance is that Salah; a Muslim should know better not to celebrate Christmas with Christians. According to them, it is also a sin in Islam.

Apparently, the Islamic religion condemns such action and terms it “Haram”. It also considers other religions inferior and its members infidels.
In the post’s comments, someone categorically stated that it is impermissible in Islam to celebrate infidels holiday. Salah hasn’t replied to any of the comments and might definitely never.
Do you think Salah is wrong in joining the Christians to celebrate Christmas? Are the people commenting on his post religious extremist?
Well, we’re yet to hear or read from the premier league star.
