Mowzey Radio Is Missed In The Music Industry – Douglas Lwanga

Media personality and CEO of Purple Party, Douglas Lwanga has come out to say the late Mowzey Radio is still missed in Uganda’s music industry.

Radio accidentally died in 2018 from an injury inflicted on him by a bouncer. Ever since his death, the music industry has had a huge gap.

He used to be a songwriter at the same time as a musician. Mowzey Radio singing alongside Weasel as his music partner made his vocals stand out. The two reached different countries with their music and they also won multiple Awards in their career.

Radio didn’t only write songs for himself but also for other artists who were close to him for free. His music was rich lyrically and that’s why it stood up.

According to Douglas Lwanga, ever since Radio died, the industry has been slow. This clearly shows there is a very big gap missing in terms of lyrics.

Douglas Lwanga said if Radio was still alive in the industry, the music would have crossed borders like people always want. He said he was always pushing and making friends in different countries.

“Mowzey Radio is surely missed in this music industry. If he was still alive we would be very far because he was good at making friends. The bond he had with Nigerian artists, trust me out music would be their being played on their bigger platforms,” he said.
