He says this contribution towards his people in dire need for food during the covid lock down. Kafeero Ssekitoleko who initially contributed shs25 million towards buying soap for his constituency urged other politicians to come out to support their role during this hard times instead of waiting for government food donation.
“As serious legislators we should come out vividly to support our voters who are dire need for food. It’s not time to find about our own families,” Kafeero said.
Since the lock down the private sector has contributed food, cash and other items worth shs5 billion to national covid task force manned by office of the prime minister Dr Rukahana Rugunda.
