Mugisha Muntu Responds To FDC Criticism, Promises To Bring Change In Uganda

This year has surely come with a lot of surprises dating to when Gen Muntu announced that he’s quitting his longtime party FDC in order for him to create his own party citing various reasons for his leaving which included that it wasn’t his personal idea to leave FDC but rather the voices of the people he represents.

The general was largely criticized for his acts mainly by the closest people he worked with saying they were disappointed.

“I worked with general Muntu and I have known him for a good time. He’s a Nationalist and a patriot but him leaving at such a critical time is very disappointing though we respect his decision.

We’re on our way to freedom and we can clearly see where we’re going, but again him trying to recruit his new members from the FDC is such a bad move and he wants to weaken us” former leader of opposition in parliament Mr Wafula Oguttu lamented.

Before urging general Muntu to at least try fishing for new members from the ruling party.

Muntu responded saying he’s aimed at bringing change in Uganda and never left FDC with a bad taste.

He added on his decision to leave FDC saying “it was reported that his former party FDC had different strategies and it seemed like there was a huge gap between him and his former colleagues.”
