Muntu said that if this visit was genuinely based on the long-term interests of the two countries, then it is highly welcome. It will therefore survive and achieve its objectives.
However, if it’s based on short-term considerations to only benefit a few individuals, it will suffocate and fail to stand the test of time.
“A welcome development. Congratulations. If it is genuinely based on the long-term interests of the two Countries it will survive & be buttressed. If it is based on short-term considerations for any individual advantage, it will not lead to any good. Wisdom needs to be applied,” Mugisha Muntu replied to President Museveni’s tweet welcoming Kagame to Uganda.

Muntu had earlier on during the NBS Morning Breeze said that all these proceedings are projecting Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the presidency.
The former presidential candidate added that there would be no problem grooming Muhoozi for the presidency.
However, his involvement in politics while still, a serving army officer brings the UPDF’s reputation into question.
To note, Kagame was over the weekend in Uganda over a two-day private and business visit to Uganda. He had primarily come to attend Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s 48th birthday that happened over the weekend.
