Samson Kasumba, Simon Kaggwa Njala And Canary Mugume Set Twitter Ablaze Over Kagame’s Visit To Uganda

Forget the saying that keep your dirty linen out of the public, these workers always air it out. It was the same as Samson Kasumba, Simon Kaggwa Njala and Canary Mugume took to expressing their stark differences over Rwandan president Paul Kagame’s visit to Uganda.

The Rwandan president was set to grace first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday. And he indeed came through for the birthday.

However, Kagame only came on the 24th of April for the actual birthday. He didn’t come through for the pre-party on the 23rd.

This saw some critics of the Museveni family take joy in Kagame missing. Patrick Kanyomozi, a Bobi Wine diehard went to his Twitter and expressed how a serious sitting president couldn’t come for such a circus.

The KFM presenter was however forced to delete his tweet after Kagame made a maiden come back to Uganda after four years.

Canary took to his Twitter to mock Kanyomozi saying that he who laughs last laughs best. Kanyomozi had eventually died in his own movie.

However, Njala decided to come through for Kanyomozi at the expense of his coworkers. He said that Canary and Kasumba had goofed on brief details to predict that Kagame would come.

Even though he came through, the duo was wrong on their date (23rd) since Kagame came on the 24th. It was therefore a draw for both Kasumba/Canary and Patrick Kanyomozi.

“So much fuss about @PaulKagame here.
@CanaryMugume & @SamsonKasumba goofed on journalistic detail when they said Paul would jet in tomorrow(yesterday). The tweeping army led by @PatriqKanyomozi lost the bet when Kagame came today.

Verdict: It’s a draw game! Let’s move on,” Njala tweeted.

Both Canary Mugume and Samson Kasumba decided to hit back at Simon Kaggwa Njala’s seemingly dissing tweet. Canary tasked Kaggwa Njala to show him the tweet he (Canary) posted showing Kagame’s exact arrival date in Uganda.

“This is nonsense @SimonKaggwaNjal. And if you think there’s anything wrong with anyone’s tweets from @nextmediaug, their DMs are open,” Canary replied.

For Samson Kasumba, he also tasked, Simon and his followers to quote him showing the exact date of Kagame’s arrival.

“Let me know if you are one of those who failed to understand the two lines in this tweet. Let me also know if you see any place in this twee suggesting that the National Guest would arrive on Saturday. Never be sorry for being misunderstood. NEVER,” Kasumba also said.

Canary then told Kasumba that he had tasked Njala with a very huge task of reading. The bickering has always gone on amongst these particular journalists.
