According to him the objective is to develop Nakawa into fast modern industrial hub for manufacturing.
Mukesh also doubles as Vice Chairman of NRM entrepreneurs league and member of Uganda manufacturers association. He is contesting against Margaret Zziwa former member of Parliament for East African legislative assembly for political seat in Parliament.
His manifesto;
Among top agenda of Mukesh Shukla is to address acute youth unemployment and attract more investors in Nakawa to spur industrialization there.
“Am offering my self to serve as member of Parliament for Nakawa West. To transform Nakawa West into a fast growing industrial hub. Since 1986 Nakawa has transformed from a bushy area into a centre of manufacturing with various factories. However I want to carry on with modernization of the area into a fast growing industrial hub for manufacturing. By attracting more investors to put up more factories in the area so that our youth can be employed, ” Mukesh said.
Mukesh Shukla an admirer of President Yoweri Museveni‘s ideologies appreciates government for ushering in peace and stability hence spurred Industrialization and investor confidence to invest in the country.
He however called for dialogue with area politicians in Nakawa to develop the area to support fast development in the country.
“NRM for the last 30 years has established peace and stability in Uganda. However, fundamental issues that still remain is to address democracy and governance to spur faster growth and development. Citizens should learn to support business leaders with entrepreneurial and development agendas to attain rapid drastic developments, “he said.
” I come as solution for Nakawa West to bring quick industrialization and bring order in the area. We do not have a seat in parliament to have manufacturers voices heard, “Mukesh added.
