Charles Rwomushana, a political analyst and politician has said Museveni has become a manager of strikes in this country.
Rwomushana says much as Museveni has seen all these strikes going on for years, he has never retreated to study situations.
However, he says Museveni is only a ruler not a leader, so he runs the country the way he wants. The strike of the teachers over salary enhancement has caused many to criticize Museveni and his government.
“President Museveni has become a manager of strikes. He is managing a strike every year, but can’t he ask himself, am I on the right path?”
Charles Rwomushana, therefore, advises that only those who love education should be the ones doing education. He says this will prompt excellence in the education sector thereby producing quality students.
“We have to reach a time in the future where students want to do education with passion, not because they missed out on law and they are now refugees in education. We shouldn’t have a teacher because he doesn’t have anything else to do. We’re talking about the future of the children. The quality of a generation can’t exceed the quality of education. The quality of education can’t exceed the quality of a teacher,” he added.
