Man Dies Shortly After Winning Drinking Competition

A 37 year old man identified as Ouma Michael from Matayos Constituency of Busia County in Western province of Kenya dies a few minutes after winning what Kenyans call Changaa (a popular traditional home brewed spirit ) drinking competition.

Ouma who emerged first out of 5 other opponents reportedly drunk 3 glasses of this popular Kenyan traditional home brewed spirit known as Changaa in rapid succession and collapsed shortly after.

He lost his precious life after being declared as a winner. Little did he know that his life was the most expensive thing?

Residents that attended the competition said the deceased drunk the local beer which is against the law one glass after the other continuously.

On Wednesday morning, my son left home to meet his colleagues at their usual drinking place in Matayos,’the deceased’s mother identified as Nabwire Jackline said.

Ouma who is alleged to have been addicted to drinking was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital in Busia.

Post-Mortem will conducted to discover  the root cause of his death, doctors however suspect he died of dehydration.

In other news earlier reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, a 23 year old University student identified as Nicholas Turner committed suicide just one day to his graduation after reportedly failing his degree.

This university student initially told his parents that he had achieved a 2:1 in mechanical engineering at University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, though he did not pass his final year.
