Museveni Set To Preside Over Swearing In Of More Ministers Today

President Museveni will later today preside over the swearing in ceremony for new ministers who missed out the last time. On June 21, 2021, the President presided over the swearing-in of the majority of his new members of the cabinet.

These included the new Vice President, Jessica Alupo, as well as the new Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja

However, though, 17 of the new ministers missed out on being sworn in hence the postponement of their swearing-in to today.

Those who missed out the last time include the 1st deputy Prime Minister and Minister of East African Community Affairs Rebecca Kadaga. For her case though, a spate event held at State House Nakasero saw her swearing-in.

Those that will swear-in today include some of the following; the Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness & Refugees Eng.

Hilary Onek. Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Judith Nabakooba and the Minister for Water and Environment Sam Cheptoris.

Others are Dr. Monica Musenero the Minister in charge of Science, Technology and Innovation in the office of the President. Minister of State for Privatization and Investment Evelyn Anite will also swear in today.

In addition to those will be the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of International Relations Henry Okello Oryem, among others.
