The president replied by investing 100 million shillings in their Sacco and promised to add each small Sacco 10 million in the next few weeks and urged the market be returned back to KCCA ownership putting the blame on opposition leaders who sold the market.
People gathered around buildings to watch on mzee addressing the city and after Nakasero, he went to the old taxi park, but found more misery among the drivers and vendors working in the park.
The chairperson of the park pleaded to to President citing that the park that was 12 acres initially had been sold and their left with only 2.
Mr president you should help refund these people who bought us so that we develop it ourselves among the many problems he narrated to the president.
The president was positive with the notion of returning the taxi park to the people, and also pumped in 500 million shillings in their Sacco promising to add them 10 million for each small Sacco.
The president went further to Kiseka market listening and promising the Kampala traders troubles and injected cash in their Sacco before ending his visit.
