Museveni Visited A Piggery Project And Maize Processing Plant In Kakumiro District

Today, the Ugandan president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni visited his comrade Karoli Kamanyire at his home in Kikwaya Sub-county, Kakumiro District, where he toured his piggery project and mini-processing plant for maize and coffee.

President Museveni also addressed a rally in the same vicinity.I commend these efforts towards agro-processing, which is one of the points we have been preaching in the NRM.

Following our recent CEC resolution to form mini industrial zones at parish level, government will support such initiatives,’’said Museveni.

The president also appreciated the people of Bunyoro for always voting National Resistance Movement to lead the country.

We shall therefore continue working with the wanainchi to eradicate poverty.
