The NBS Journalist simon Muyanga Lutaaya has been released by judge Eva Luswata of Jinja high court.

Muyanaga’s release came after a truce between his legal team headed by Erias Lukwago and Bulamogi Kenneth Lubogo’s legal team.
Lutaatya was sentenced to six month in prison over a debt of shs 57 million which soared from legal costs for an election petition.
He had to deposist 10 million in cash out of the before he was released. Lutaaya is expected to pay the remaining balance of 47 M in six months.
Muyanga spent only four days in Kirinya prison.
After his release, he thanked those that contributed the cash of 10m that he deposited.
