I believe I will be harshly judged for such an advice but believe me when I tell you I’ve been in hell and it’s a place I would not even wish on my worst enemy.

I met my boyfriend identified as Dan when he had nothing besides his six pack. Foolish as I was, I developed romantic feelings for him with the promise of living happily for the rest of our lives.

He would take my car and drop me to work then go for his own errands. My prince charming would come pick me up in the evening with a bouquet of flowers. It was a romantic love story.

I took a loan and helped him establish a garage along Mombasa Road as he was an engineer. That was the worst mistake I did to myself.

It all started when he didn’t show up to pick me up. He called and said he was busy at the garage. Soon that became a norm and before I knew it, he was not showing up at home.
