Nambooze Rushed To Hospital Due To Health That Worsened While In Police Cell

Mukono women member of parliament, Betty Bakireke Nambooze has been taken to Kiruddu Hospital which is located in Makindye, Kampala in a horrible condition. according to Daily Monitor.

Mukono MP was arrested at her home on Thursday and taken to Jinja road Police station where Police special investigation Unit in Kireka first interrogated her following the recent statements she made in regards to the death of the former Arua Member of Parliament, Ibrahim Abiriga who was shot dead on 8^th-June 2018.

A few hours later, she was released. Surprisingly she was arrested once again on indefinite detention order and she was supposed to be transferred to Naggalama for custody this evening.

Hon Nambooze’s health worsened this Saturday morning and therefore without wasting time, she was rushed to the hospital for treatment, according to her lawyer, Erias Lukwago.

Lukwago continued and said our sister, Hon Nambooze has been rushed to Kiruddu Hospital in the Division of Makindye by the police as her health was worsening further.

The first day she was arrested, Nambooze had fixed an assurance that her health condition needed her to be at home.
