Minister Namuganza To Be Sued for Threatening The Lives Of Speaker Kadaga And Kyabazinga

Minister of State for Lands, Persis Namuganza could be face a law suit if the criminal proceedings that are bided by the busoga Parliamentary Caucus against her goes through.

Who Is Persis Namuganza?

Namuganza is currently the state minister for lands and also the Member of Parliament for Bukono county. She was born on October 5, 1984. Persis was trained as an accountant at Makerere Business Institute where she obtained a Diploma in 2009 before she later joined Kyambogo University for a degree in social work. And later she obtained a Master’s degree in International Relations at Cavendish University.

The minister has been quoted on several occasions insulting the Speaker Kadaga and the Busoga Kyabazinga Gabula Nadiope IV.

She said: “Kadaga is unqualified and unfit to hold the office of a Member of Parliament.”

Persis reached an extent of threating to end the life of kadaga.

Namuganza was summoned to a meeting by a team of legislators to clarify her comments and respond to concerns raised by fellow legislators in relation to her sentiments though she declined.
