Singer Nina Roz Denies Relapsing In Her Drug Abuse Fight

Female singer Nina Kankunda aka Nina Roz came out yesterday to address rumors that she had relapsed in her fight against drug addiction. For some days now, rumors had it that the “Enyonta” singer had gone back to using drugs.

The same rumors indicated that the singer had now upgraded to using cocaine from aviation fuel.

It was further reported that she buys a daily 100g for Shs 100,000 and at one time leveraged her phone just to get cocaine.

Nina who was found at charity event donating food to the vulnerable in Wakiso district denied the rumors.

She said that most of these are rumors but she’s currently doing different things now.

The singer added that people should stop pointing fingers at who takes drugs.

They should rather counsel them because singling them out will only lead to stigmatization.

Nina also said that she was a drug addict but has fought her way to safety and there’s no way she’s going back.

I honestly don’t know where those rumors come from. I’m currently doing different things now from what the media is speaking. You people should stop promoting drug use but rather tell people it’s bad to use them. We should also avoid singling out those who use them because they will feel stigmatized. A child will think it’s ok to use them because Nina Roz uses them.” The singer said.

Nina also talked about her time in Black Market records which belongs to former husband Daddy Andre.

She said that they are currently embroiled in some misunderstandings which they will manage legally.

The singer further said that the label betrayed her after promising to push her career ahead.

They however deleted her YouTube channel and told her fans not to subscribe to it adding that it will be sorted legally.

When they asked her about Daddy Andre and their relationship, Nina declined to talk about it and simply walked away.
