Nince Henry Reveals His Best Songs Ever Written

Musician and songwriter Nince Henry has revealed his best-ever lyrical expressions. The singer is arguably one of the best songwriters in the country.

He has penned some of the biggest hits ever in the country.

Taking to his Twitter page, he revealed that Samalie Matovu’s song, Omukwano Gunyuma was his first song. This was a countrywide hit. It also won song of the year in the now-defunct Pearl of Africa Music Awards. The Bamukwata Mpola singer added that Irene Ntale’s Eno ye Sawa was his best lyrical expression.

“The first song I ever wrote was OMUKWANO GUNYUMA in 2010 by Samali Matovu! It was the biggest song in the country that whole year! It won the PEARL OF AFRICA MUSIC AWARDS Song of the year! My best lyrical exhibition was in ENO YE SAWA for Irene ntale so….,” said Nince Henry.

The singer decided to highlight some of his top songs after a debate about Spice Diana’s Siri Regular song.

Social Media users said that it sounded more like a Mowzey Radio-written song. And in order to make people know of what he’s written, he decided to give them an excerpt.

Further, Nince Henry highlighted about the late Mowzey Radio’s writing skills. Apparently, Mowzey Radio never wanted to sell his songs until 2013.

This is after he was convinced to sell some of his extra demos in his catalog.

The singer also said that the late Goodlyfe singer used to draw his inspiration from the late Paul Kafeero.

“Mozey never wanted to write songs for other people. Until 2013 when he was convinced to sell some of his then-extra catalog of demos to others. One day me and him argued on who listened to more of Paul kafeero’s songs and he took me to his car. On his list he had 20 more than I,” he added.

Radio went ahead to tell him that he was excited that there was real money for songwriting. It’s how he ended up putting up his songs for sale.

The singer also divulged that most artistes who bought Mowzey Radio’s songs never released them after his death.

Some either failed to execute them or just kept them as demos. Then the issue of who has Mozey’s hard drive scared many according to Nince Henry.
