While appearing at a local political talk show, Bamwine addressed the current crisis of the missing persons.
It should be noted that for the past few weeks, opposition MPs boycotted Parliament. This was over the missing persons the opposition claims were either abducted or killed by the regime.
The government first played tough but later succumbed to the pressure and decided to address the issue. Gen David Muhoozi the Minister of State for Internal Affairs recently addressed this issue. However, the opposition MPs weren’t satisfied and are expected to give a reply this week.
According to Fred Bamwine, the fact that the government engaged the opposition over this issue shows how good they are. They are willing to listen and even apologize where they have gone wrong.
Additionally, the former Mukono RDC said that most Opposition MPs can’t differentiate between politics and politicking.
“The positive aspect of this government is our willingness to listen and apologize where we have gone wrong, something governments rarely do. The issue we face with politicians here is their failure to differentiate between politics and politicking,” he said.
The government has been tasked with producing these 18 people. Shockingly and surprisingly, the regime said that some of these people are in Canada and other countries chilling. Apparently, this is a plot by the opposition especially NUP to discredit the government.
The highlight of these missing people is Moses Nkonge Kibalama who sold his NURP party to Bobi Wine that is currently NUP.
Sources from the opposition have it that he was murdered but the PM Robinah Nabbanja said that he’s in Canada working. Tasked by the government to produce him, they have since failed.
