Nubian Li’s Wife Says Barbie Kyagulanyi Supported Her Campaigns Financially

Singer Nubian Li’s wife identified as Mutoni Shiko is the newly elected Local Counsel 3 Chairperson for Kyanja parish Nakawa division.

Mutoni experienced hardships securing for votes due to her husband’s arrest.

According to her, she was tortured psychologically but fortunately, her spirit didn’t die. She continued to push for victory.

During an interview with Spark TV, she revealed that she took the victory due to Nubian Li’s efforts whereby he contributed both financial support and emotional support.

“He supported me in many ways. He gave me funds and also pushed me to go for the seat,” she revealed.

Mutoni appreciated Barbie Kyagulanyi’s financial support  towards her campaigns even when she was under house arrest in Magere.

“Barbie didn’t show up for my campaigns but she supported me a lot financially. She is truly a blessing,” she added.

However, she noted that she cannot celebrate at this point in time because her hubby is in currently in jail yet they are meant to be together.

Meanwhile, In other news recently published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, the NUP party’s president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu warned the newly-elected NUP MPs that they are going to face a lot of temptations. Among these temptations is money from Museveni and ministerial positions in the parliament.

Kyagulanyi also spoke to the press for the first time since he was put under house arrest on January 14 after the polls. It has been almost 11 days since then but the following day, the court ordered the military to vacate his premises.
