This followed a mismatch of statements from the party president, Bobi Wine, and the shadow minister for entertainment, Hon Hilary Kiyaga aka Dr Hilderman.
When reports circulated that artists had been given billions of shillings, Bobi Wine came out and criticized them. He said that they were given this money to fight him and besides they were taking part in corruption.
On top of that, he said that this money could have built a hospital like Kiruddu. In a surprising turn of events, Dr Hilderman came out and disagreed with his boss. The Mawokota North MP blamed himself for not informing his boss of what was taking place.
Apparently, the Mazongoto singer said that it’s okay for musicians to access this money. And besides, it would be hypocritical of him not to acknowledge the problems fellow musicians are facing.
Additionally, he said that the money doesn’t belong to Eddy Kenzo but to the industry. As if he had been let off a hook, Kenzo stung back immediately. He said that he blames this on the party’s disorganization and miscommunication.
“I think the party is disorganized and I blame it on miscommunication,” said the singer.
Additionally, the Bolingo singer also revealed that he restored love and oneness between Azawi and Ray G. He called each of them separately and later dually. After that, he advised them to meet on a personal level and sort out their wrangles which they did.
