Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro: Ugandans Can't Be Well Represented In EALA If There Is No N UP

NUP’s Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro Trashes MK’s Lineup For Presidency

The deputy spokesperson of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro has come out to trash the lineup of first son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba in his presidential ambitions. It should be noted that Muhoozi has already made his presidential ambitions known.

The long-suspected and feared Muhoozi project is finally coming to fruition. He so me time ago announced a team of officials that will help him in his bid.  Among these include Andrew Mwenda as the national spokesperson. Frank Gashumba the deputy spokesperson, Buganda Region, David Kabanda as the deputy spokesperson for the MK movement.

Alex Waisswa Mufumbiro was asked about this lineup and how NUP is prepared to counter them. The NUP deputy spokesperson for a long time has been known for always delivering tough arguments. His type of debate is one that is never formal and he was at it again. He said that Ugandans need to open their eyes. Mufumbiro wondered what this lineup can add to the nation as it’s full of crooks.

Apparently, he pointed out that Gashumba is a ‘mufere‘ (conman.) Furthermore, he branded Mwenda as ‘ekisiyaga‘ (homosexual). Mufumbiro went ahead to compare the MK team to NUP’s and concluded that his side is miles ahead of Muhooz’s.

“What is even there to compare? Just look at the lineup the first son presented. It’s nothing but full of incapable people who can’t take Uganda anywhere. Frank Gashumba is a Mufere, Mwenda is a homosexual. Compare the national spokesperson Mwenda to ours Joel Ssenyony or for Buganda to Mathis Mpuuga. Then compare their leader Muhoozi Kainerugaba to our president H.E Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu. There isn’t much to debate about,” said Mufumbiro.

A number of people however took to his interview to advise him to debate respectfully against his opponents. Among these was veteran Simon Muyanga Lutaaya. The former Baba TV presenter said that NUP has cultivated an environment where respect for divergence is not welcome.
