Oliver Nakakande, 24, finally emerges the winner of Miss Uganda 2019/2020 after beating twenty one other contestants. She takes over the crown from the beautiful Musoga girl, Quinn Abenakyo, who was crowned both Miss Uganda 2018/2019 and Miss World Africa, after becoming the 2nd runner up.

The fantastic event that took place on Friday at Sheraton Kampala Hotel gardens in a well-built world class tent comprised of different sections including ordinary and VIP section.
Those who preferred ordinary section paid 40,000 shillings, but could not easily see what was happening on the podium as many of them shifted to watching the event on the big screen which was installed in front of them.
22 contestants were shortlisted and brought to the podium, most of them were having notice cards of their names and images, alongside a team of moral boosters. But team Oliver Nakakande had the loudest moral boosters which in a long run managed to take victory.

In the end, Nakakande was handed over a brand new Toyota Wish and named Miss Uganda 2019/2020.
Some twitter users think she’s probably a wrong choice, however, many are appreciating and the judges knew why she deserved the crown.
