Opposition Need To Go To Kyankwanzi For Leadership Lectures – Hon Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune

The Microfinance minister, Hon. Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo, has advised the opposition political parties to go to Kyankwanzi and get up some leadership lessons.

It should be noted that the NRM always links up in Kyankwanzi for several seminars. Therefore, Kyeyune Kasolo believes that the opposition would pick up some great lessons from there.

He added that he’s glad about how NUP landed positions they were not prepared for. The minister went ahead to say that NUP has run out of ideas.

He said that NUP used to insult NRM until they got used to them. Now the ball has turned and they have resorted to abusing themselves.

“The opposition needs to go to Kyankwanzi and learn leadership skills. When the NUP gang was formed, they abused us until our skins got used. They have now started abusing themselves. People voted for them (NUP) because they promised they would handle all their issues. In actual sense, there were people who were meant to take up those positions.

Our NUP colleagues know it and thank God that they landed those positions which they were not prepared for. This was a wave and such waves take some time to happen again,” said Kyeyune.

Haruna Kasolo also talked about the recent suspensions that took place in NUP. These included the suspension of top NUP cadres. According to Kyeyune, Bigirwa was suspended unlawfully.

In fact, the people that suspended Bigirwa are the ones who needed to be suspended.

“Bigirwa, you were not suspended lawfully. Wake up tomorrow and go to your job. In fact, the people who suspended you deserve a suspension.”

However, NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi said that people in Busoga had been calling them. These were informing them about what their leaders were doing.

They, therefore, had to intervene and did not expel them. They rather put them aside to allow investigations to go ahead.
