Pastor Mondo Finally Speaks Out Why Court Ordered For His Arrest

The founder and overseer of Empowerment Christian Centre Church Pastor Mondo Franklin Mugisha is currently on the run. He sneaked out of the country after realizing that they were planning to get him arrested on charges of fraud.

Four days ago, the Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s Court ordered the arrest of Pastor Mondo on allegations of cheating worshipers of over Shs4.5 billion in fake scholarship programmes.

Magistrate Kamasanvu Gladys issued the arrest warrant on Thursday last week after the man of God failed to appear in court to answer the charges. Even his lawyer Mr Lutaro Robert did not show up either.

During an online interaction with one of the bloggers, the man of God described the orders to put him behind bars as mere witch-purge.

Pastor relates his distress to the NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi, saying some people in the government were not happy when the ‘Kyarenga’ Hit maker mentioned him as one of his mentors during Pastor Yiga’s funeral.

Despite his mentorship towards Kyagulanyi, Pastor Mondo always says that he supports president Museveni and his NRM government.

Meanwhile, In other news earlier reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, whilst talking about NUP president Bobi Wine whose real names are Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, Bebe Cool claimed he is Bobi’s mentor. He added that he mentored the ‘Kyarenga’ Hit maker to join politics many years back.

Bebe Cool is the son to the former veteran Ugandan politician and the founder of People’s Progressive Party Jaberi Bidandi Ssali. He explained that he grew up in a political family. He said he always had political discussions with Bobi Wine.
