Christians at Revival Church Kawaala were ecstatic during yesterday’s Sunday service.
During the service, Jengo told his followers that he was at last ready to settle down. He invited his lover, Fifi, to the pulpit amid loud ululations from the Christians.
“There have been rumors going around in the past and on many occasions, I have been linked to many people and I keep denying them. But with the news that came out this week, there was no way of denying it,” he said.
“There comes a time in life when one has to grow up. And I think I am tired of being a Semyekozo,” he said as the church cheered wildly.
Jengo revealed that he and Fifi had been together for five years and that he did not want to wait any longer, lest she got taken by other men.
The pastor also addressed the concerns about the Church’s bulging debts and fears that it might be taken over along with his TV station.
Some Christians reportedly expressed disappointment last week that their pastor was diverting into marriage ceremonies when he should be focusing on the church’s current crisis. The pastor told the Christians that marriage is equally as important.
“I have heard some people worrying that our Church is going along with our school Revival High, and the TV. And that we are choking on debts. What I can tell you is that any living person has problems. The question is, when the time comes for marriage, should we marry those problems? Some people need to give me a break,” he said
Meanwhile, Pastor Jengo officially announced that his introduction ceremony will be held almost a year from now, on November 23rd, 2024. It will be held at Fifi’s home in Mbirizi, in Luwero District.
