Police Arrested Key Suspect In Horrible Murder Of Bodaboda Rider Seen On CCTV Recently

Police in Kampala has arrested a bodaboda killer identified as Mugisha John Bosco who is reportedly said to have been arrested several times and he has been imprisoned in Luzira on charges of theft and robbery before.

He is said to be a key suspect in a horrible murder of a bodaboda cyclist spotted on CCTV camera on 30th June 2019.

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Onyango Patrick confirmed John Bosco’s arrest at Rubaga Division on Tuesday night.

The suspect confessed that his co-accused they nick named as Young Mulo ( Not the artist ) was killed by mob a few hours after they were suspected to have stolen a motorbike, according to Mr Onyango.

He confessed that they robbed a motorbike in Mityana on 2nd July 2019 and they were detected in Makindye Kampala where they were attacked by mob, killing his fellow thief. He managed to escape and went to hide in Kabale.

The police spokesperson stated that John Bosco was arrested on several occasions and has been put behind bars at Luzira prison on charges of theft and robbery before.

On 30th June 2019, John Bosco and his fellow killed Mulindwa Derrick, a residence of Nabweru who they struck several times on the head with a metal bar in Mengo.

The suspect confessed that they hit Derrick at around 4am. He struggled him as his fellow held the motorbike.

John Bosco’s fellow parked the motorbike, pulled off the helmet from Derrick and started hitting him, then after escaped with a stolen motorbike.
