She was also spotted on Tuesday leaving the presidential jet without a mask. She also happened to be in an even closer proximity to the president aboard the presidential helicopter. And that is when the president held a rally in Minnesota.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

By far, the 31-year-old presidential adviser is the first closest aide to Mr. Trump to test positive for the virus. Donald J Trump tweeted that he and his wife are in quarantine as they wait for their own results.
He also tweeted on Thursday night, ‘’Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid-19. Terrible!’’
It is however, unclear how the president’s quarantine will affect the second presidential debate scheduled for 15 October. The debate will happen in Miami, Florida and Trump said they will see what happens. He also said Ms. Hicks often wore a mask but still tested positive.
All aides and anyone else who might get contact with the President are tested by the White House daily. Trump on the other hand, is always spotted not socially distanced with aides during official engagements.
Ms. Hicks is the latest White House aide to contract the virus after a few months without a case. VP Mike Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller tested positive in May and recovered.
