Furthermore, he said that he paid homage to him and condoled with the people. He went ahead to define Oulanyah as a strong pillar and huge loss to the country.
“I met Mzee Nathan Okori, the father of the Late Jacob Oulanyah at Lalogi, Omoro District on the sidelines of our NRM Campaigns today and commiserated with him on the death of our son.
I am glad to have visited the ancestral home of the Late Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah. I paid homage to him and condoled with our people. Oulanyah was a strong pillar in this country and a huge loss to us. May his Soul Rest in Peace,” President Museveni tweeted.
The president who was campaigning for Andrew who is the late Oulanyah’s son described him as a capable young man. Museveni told Ojok that the people of Omoro won’t be sending him to Parliament.
They will instead be sending Oulanyah back to Parliament because he had shown exceptional leadership. And if he performs well, they will then send him back for his full term as Ojok.
The campaigns ended yesterday as all camps are geared up for the D-day. The election will take place tomorrow 26th May 2022.
