On Saturday, Morocco became the first African team to go beyond the quarterfinal stage onto the semi-finals. They did this by defeating Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal team 1-0. They referred to this as a historic qualification.
“In order to allow the many Moroccans wanting to support the national team at its peak and experience the emotion of the World Cup semifinal, Royal Air Morac has set up an air bridge between Casablanca and Doha,” the firm said in a statement.
Earlier on, fans went online to complain about a crowded airport in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. However, the airline will now cater to those fans between now and the game tomorrow.
The coach, Walid Regragui took up the job to coach the Moroccan team just three months to the start of the tournament. On different occasions, he has often referred to the fans as the 12th member of the team.
The semi-final between the two will take place tomorrow at 10:00pm and will decide who will advance to the finals of the Qatar World Cup 2022.
In another semifinal, Argentina will meet with Croatia today at 10:00 pm to determine who will advance to the final to meet the winner between France and Morocco.
