A number of these DJs have been accusing the Ndigida singer of eating their money that the government gave them under the COVID-19 stimulus package.
However, ‘Jajja’ Ragga Dee says that he gave these DJs 10M shillings to set up an office.
This money was intended to set up a base for themselves in order to have a station where the government can easily access them. The former Kampala mayor aspirant said that he got 800m shillings to split amongst 61 associations in the art industry.
He is now wondering why it’s only DJs complaining and accusing him of chewing their money.
“Those DJs signed for their money which was 10m shillings. They took it well knowing it’s to set up an office and not for their personal gains. With an office, it would be easier for the government to locate and give them help in case needed. I got 800m shillings from the government to give out to over 61 associations in the art industry. It’s only UMA that I gave 60m shillings because it is countrywide. There are other art sectors such as the film industry who took that money and don’t complain. If the DJs ate that money and did not set up an office, it’s them blocking their chances of developing,” Raga Dee said.
The singer questioned why he’s been involved in most of the scandals involving government money said it’s because he’s well trusted and also wishes them development.
Raga Dee further said that he has the receipts showing he disbursed the money. And he will therefore expose all those accusing him of embezzlement.
The DJs also accused Ragga Dee of taking them to Gulu and coming back empty-handed.
