Ray Signature Brags About Writing 70% Of Ugandan Music

Music critic and songwriter Ray Signature has bragged about writing 70% of Ugandan music. The singer has been in the music industry as a writer for more than 10 years.

He has written some hit songs for many artistes. Some of the notable hit songs he has are ‘Kasenyanku, Pen and Papper’, tatikitiki, etc which became hit songs.

The singer said he has helped musicians get to the top of their careers with his songs although they forget him. They don’t credit him when they are talking about their careers yet he is a very big part of them.

According to Ray Signature, writing music isn’t easy because they are paid very little money. On top of that, they have no say about the song after the artiste records it yet in other countries writers earn so much.

However, as a songwriter, he is still very proud of who he is. He also can’t stop talking about how he has helped musicians get on top of their game.

“I write 70% of Ugandan music although I am not appreciated that much. I have helped so many artists rise to the top of their game. And I still do write music, these days I charge more money because I know I am not appreciated that much and I don’t get any benefits after writing a song,” he said.
