Is It Really A Crime To Live A Single Life?

Despite what people say, being single is not a crime of course. Believe me, living single can also be the best life. The way family and friends can black mail you into marriage. But no, marriage is not a sign that you are blessed, it’s a blessing but it does not define you. Being single is neither a crime nor a curse.  It is just a phase in life. Therefore do not be forced into relationship because others are in it.

Single life may be better than marriage as many people have testified being happier when they were single than when they got married. Others say you become fully independent and you have the freedom to do what makes you happy.

It’s not that am against marriage, but the point is that both kinds of lives are good than how people think that married people are happier than the singles. There are some preformed ways that single people are doing better than the married people, and those ways in which we are so sure married people are doing better well.

A Single life gives you time to relax and pamper yourself!

Even so, there are several personal reasons you should be skeptical, regardless of whether you are being told that marriage wins or single life wins.

Both the married and the single people are totally different. Suppose a study seemed to show that the people who get married were doing better in some way. Remember the people who got married chose to do so.

If you angered single people into getting married especially people who are single at heart and embrace the same benefits. To paraphrase from my favorite cartoons. If I got married, I wouldn’t live longer, it would just seem longer.

What is most likely to be true is that some people live their best, most authentic, most meaningful and beautiful lives by deciding to live single.

At times like some of us, we decide to be single up to a certain age or certain time and enter marriage life at a certain age.

One widow who had spent a very good time while married embraced also the time she has spent single though she could not regret the days she was married.
