For the love of children as Christmas festivities kick off, Ruparelia Foundation has organised Christmas party for children in need to feel loved, remembered and cared for under the theme: Christmas toy drive.
The group through various establishments namely Kampala Parents school, New Delhi Public school, Kampala international school of Uganda and Victoria University are care mobilizing old toys and money for charity.
According to Mary Kobusingye the foundation media officer says its part of groups corporate social responsibility and charity programme this year.
“Ruparelia Foundation is well known for its charity activities that comprise education health sports and music. However dye to the need to provide special attention to vulnerable group, we decided to do Christmas toy drive in our major enterprises to raise money for charity, “she said.
The grand event slated for December 15th will take place at Kampala parents school.
Kobusingye said Christmas toy drive event aims to collect money for the less fortunate children in orphanage and hospitals.
Since inception Ruparelia Foundation has supported many children among them is Fresh Kid who currently is studying at Kampala Parents School under the scholarship grant from Ruparelia group director Rajiv Ruparelia.
