Schools Resume Today Officially After Closure For Two Years

If you are driving around your neighborhood and the country today, you’ll not miss a common sight of students returning back to schools.

The government has allowed schools to resume today officially after closure for two years for some classes because of the prevailing covid-19 pandemic.

Some classes were opened for a while amidst the lockdown, that is, candidate classes. However, most classes remained closed. This means the greatest percentage of students have been home for two good years.

A lot has changed about the students and the teachers as well. If possible this first week of school would just be for the psychological help of both parties, not forgetting the parents as well.

Much as students are going back to school, we still have the pandemic with us. The new variant is making new among the people.

Due to the opening of schools, starting today till the end of the week, there will be no curfew. The government said this is to enable students to settle in without too much to worry about.

However, immediately after this week, curfew will be reinstated till 24th of January when the President said it will be officially lifted.

Meanwhile, the talk around town has been the hiked school tuition of the students. Some have doubled their charges but want full payment before allowing students in school.

Some parents have decided to take their children to Government schools where charges are a bit minimal unlike private schools. Either way, though, school has resumed.
