Sheebah Karungi To Headline East Africa Fashion Show

Queen of the dance hall music, Sheebah Karungi is set to headline East Africa Fashion show that will take place from 13^th April at International University of East Africa in Kansanga.

The inaugural event focuses on grooming youth to take on fashion as a career amidst youth unemployment.

“Fashion, style and music is trending this generation. We strongly believe it’s an area that our youth should exploit as career to make killer money and business,”cutherbet Atwongeire IUEA marketing Coordinator noted.

Adding that the world has embrace fashion hence opportunity for youth to venture in this thriving sector.

Clarifying about the event activities, he noted that the all-white carpet event will have music performances, poems, dances, trending style and cultural wear be exhibited.

IUEA vice chancellor Dr.Akazuewa urged the youth to innovate and use fashion, music and style to start money-making projects to alleviate poverty in society.

He said the university is ready to support innovations and creativity to spur growth of the graduates while at the university.

“IUEA is technological university of choice that emphases on creativity, innovations and talent promotion. We shall support our students to exploit their talents and skills and give them practical’s skills to better themselves in life, “he explained.

Akazuewa however said this academic year the university will introduce new courses like entrepreneurship, fashion, international languages and virtual education to beat off competition for students and offer best cutting edge courses.
